Speaker: Nathan Hermiston | Visit KC - Vice President

Nathan Hermiston serves as the Senior Vice President of Convention Sales & Services for Visit KC, a position he has held since June 2019. In this leadership role, Nathan oversees the strategic direction and execution of Visit KC’s convention sales efforts, working to attract meetings, events, and conventions that drive tourism and economic impact across the Kansas City region.

Visit KC is a 45+ person organization dedicated to serving as the heart of the city’s tourism industry, with a vision to spark global passion for Kansas City. Under Nathan’s leadership, the Convention Sales & Services team plays a vital role in supporting that mission by forging strong relationships with meeting planners, hospitality partners, and industry stakeholders to showcase all that Kansas City has to offer.

Before making the move to KC, Nathan built a successful career in hospitality and tourism across several major markets. He held positions with Hilton Hotels and served with the Convention & Visitors Bureaus in both Detroit and Minneapolis. Most recently, he served as Senior Director of Sales for Meet Minneapolis, where he led high-performing teams and helped drive measurable growth in convention business.

Nathan brings to Kansas City a wealth of industry knowledge, a collaborative leadership style, and a passion for elevating the city’s national profile as a premier destination for meetings and events.
